The health and safety of our employees is our top priority. Due to the pandemic, all our employees are working remotely and we will be conducting candidate interviews by video. This position will be required to be on client site full time once the COVID-19 crisis has abated.

 

Here’s what you’ll do in this role:

  • Serve as subject matter expert and technical consultant for all Marketing Technology tactics, initiatives, and projects
  • Develop strategies to introduce new offerings and technologies to our clients
  • Recommend technology trends and evolving social behavior that may support or impede the success of the business
  • Own the technical delivery of multiple, simultaneous digital marketing projects with the support of day-to-day technology managers
  • Consult with internal teams in evaluating state of digital environment, considering client needs; develop a business plan to meet technical needs
  • Share knowledge, mentor, and educate Agency teams regarding technological vision, opportunities, and challenges. Including hosting and/or collaborating in Agency training initiatives
  • Identify and provide technical training to both internal and external groups
  • Support Project Management on software development lifecycle project planning including estimation and timeline planning, project initiation, and project delivery
  • Collaborate in a cross-capability capacity to assess and recommend technologies that support client organizational and promotional needs
  • Partner with DH Technology leadership and Account teams to drive strategic technical planning and budgeting activities. Assist in hiring and managing a world-class team of developers, quality assurance analysts, and technology project managers
  • Contribute to the standardization of technologies and evolution of best practices by collaborating with peers outside the company
  • Work closely with DH Technology Leadership on new initiatives and overall process and operations evolutions
  • Evaluate/audit and identify appropriate technology opportunities and/or platforms for developing and delivering on digital tactics for our clients

 

Your qualifications:

  • 8+years of experience inleading Marketing Technology initiatives including minimum 3 years at a management level
  • Deep Knowledge of web standards
  • Familiarity with more than one software development methodology
  • Understanding of data privacy and security
  • Understanding of omni-channel digital marketing
  • Understanding of front-and back-end technologies
  • HTML, CSS, Javascript Frameworks, and various programming languages
  • Knowledgeable in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Working Knowledge of in Zeplin, Sketch, InVision, or other modern web-design tools a big plus
  • Experience and understanding of enterprise-level Digital Experience is a plus (e.g. Sitecore, AEM, Acquia)
  • Experience in authoring technical specs for Digital projects
  • Experience with and understanding of wireframes, site maps, user flows, and test cases
  • Experience on campaigns outside the web is a plus (e.g., print, email, banner ads)
  • Deep understanding and sense for how to design and develop for impact on end user
  • Experience with leading remote development teams
  • Creative experience and background a plus
  • Potential travel not to exceed 15%
  • Experience managing across multiple technical areas a plus (i.e. applications, development, network engineering and operations)
