The health and safety of our employees is our top priority. Due to the pandemic, all our employees are working remotely and we will be conducting candidate interviews by video. This position will be onsite 2 days a week once the COVID-19 crisis has abated.

 

Here’s what you’ll do in this role:

  • Identify product specifications and business needs through elicitation sessions with stakeholders
  • Review product specifications and requirements to make informed recommendations on the nature and scope of product development
  • Lead weekly development meetings with Product, Engineering, Development and Operations teams providing a readout on status, scheduling and open issues
  • Support Product Maintenance, incremental product enhancements and infrastructure initiatives
  • Manage priorities and scope for release planning
  • Familiar with the agile framework, working methodology as well as industry best practices in product development, specific to the Cable or telecommunications space
  • Interface with OSS/BSS, engineering, and IT to assure that systems architecture and implementation satisfies the short and long term vision of product features and service delivery capabilities
  • Build and manage strong working relationships with the cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, UX, Customer Care, Sales, Sales Support and external vendors needed to drive an efficient development effort for new enterprise voice initiatives
  • Ensure communication with all stakeholders is being managed effectively

 

Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (required)
  • Experience in the cable industry (Preferred, not required)
  • Six or more years of experience in telecommunications, software and online services (Preferred, not required)
  • Six or more years of experience in product development or management in a specific supported product line
  • Eagerness to learn from a new environment and make an impact quickly
  • History of working with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals while managing and fostering change
  • Solid planning, prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to listen to multiple viewpoints and synthesize them against established goals
  • Track record of managing multiple projects while making decisions and resolving issues working under pressure
  • Repeated success showing sound judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties
  • Expert in analyzing and interpreting data and synthesizing recommendations
  • Business acumen and sense of urgency to achieve business results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Effective written and spoken English communication skills with all levels of an organization
